Trails are still good after yesterdays rain with only the occasional low, wet spot. Overlook by the creek is still mostly wet.

Trails are slightly damp but very firm. There’s a tree down at each end of Wight Oaks 1, both are passable. Stay safe.

The trail is in good condition. It tolerated the rain well.

Trails slick in spots from rain (ride through puddles not around them) but all remain open.

Technically open at the moment, but a backyard rain gage and weather app both say West Branch received 2" of rain on Sunday 7/5/26. Give it some time to dry.

Dry trails and no debris to speak of. Enjoy and be safe!

East Rim Trails remain open. The HEAT is real so stay hydrated! Was still 96* down in the valley.

6/30 - OPEN - The trail is in great shape! Please remember that we do not have water access at the trailhead, so be prepared for the heat and bring more than you think you'll need.

6/22: Folks, Austin Badger is in rough shape. It needs a lot of maintenance. CAMBA is trying to work with the local land managers to arrange several trail days that will involve renting a brush hog and cutting back vegetation around the trail. Additionally, much of the open areas of the trail have become trenched out and will require cutting, filling and tamping to bring it back to rideable shape. Please check the CAMBA Facebook Group for details as we will post updates when they become available. In the meantime, while the trail is technically "open" you may not have a great experience.
